Responsible for maintaining the high standards of customer service expected from Flightline and for the orderly, safe and efficient conduct of the Flightline front counter. Coordinates with the line department to ensure all customer fuel and service requests are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner and transferring calls to applicable extensions
- Completing customer requests for fuel and other services
- Set-up catering for crew and passengers as requested.
- Take reservations and ensure availability of rental cars and limousines.
- Coordinate with Lineman in the efficient and timely handling of customer requirements and requests.
- Accurate cash handling and credit card processing of all sales.
- Ensure lobby and common areas are kept in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
- Assist in on-the-job training for new personnel.
- Maintain Crew Car log and monitor fuel level and cleanliness of vehicles.
- Send and receive faxes for customers and provide other office assistance as needed
- Maintain coffee service and ensure vending area cleanliness.
- Consults with Flightline management personnel when needed during unusual or emergency situations, including personnel or customer injury.
- Complete shift closeout procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Dress in the appropriate uniform.
- Transport customers in crew vehicles when needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Ability to establish priorities and work with a team in a fast paced customer focused environment.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Thorough knowledge of Flightline Policies and Procedures
Credentials and Experience:
- Completion of the Chevron Training Program (Customer service Section).
- High School Diploma (Preferred)
- Prior sales or customer service experience (Preferred)
- Basic computer word processing and data entry ability.
